These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of JobProfit. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using JobProfit (the 'Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'), our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines posted on the Platform. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Legal24by7 Technologies Private Limited ('Company', 'we', 'us').
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Students and job-seekers must provide accurate educational and professional information. Recruiters must represent a legitimately incorporated organisation and are responsible for ensuring all job postings comply with applicable Indian labour laws. Colleges must be a UGC-recognised or state-board-affiliated institution.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other person. You must promptly notify us at support@legal24by7.com of any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account where you failed to notify us.
Acceptable use
You must not: post fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate job or internship listings; misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or organisation; scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Platform; use automated bots to apply to listings or generate AI tool queries; upload malicious code, viruses, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; or use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable law.
Recruiter obligations
Recruiters warrant that all listings are for genuine vacancies, that salary and role information is accurate, and that the hiring process complies with equal-opportunity principles. Listings that are discriminatory (based on caste, religion, gender, or disability status beyond lawful occupational requirements) are prohibited and will be removed without notice. Recruiters are solely responsible for the accuracy of listing content and for compliance with labour laws in all jurisdictions where they hire.
AI-generated content
JobProfit's AI tools (Resume Analyzer, Career Advisor, ATS Scanner, etc.) provide suggestions based on general patterns and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional career, legal, or financial advice. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated content before acting on it.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit (resume, portfolio, job postings). By submitting content, you grant JobProfit a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Platform. The Platform's code, design, trademarks, and AI models are the exclusive property of Legal24by7 Technologies Private Limited.
Payment terms
Paid subscriptions are governed by the Refund Policy below. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of a paid feature after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Platform. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not guarantee job placement, hiring outcomes, salary levels, or the accuracy of third-party listings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent court.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 7 days' notice before material changes take effect, via email and an in-platform notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
